DBD Chapter 31 PTB release date with new killer, survivor teasers

BeHaviour Interactive is gearing up to pull the curtain aside on the next chapter of Dead By Daylight. We know that it’s an original episode and all of the clues so far have been very creepy. Here you will find the Dead By Daylight Chapter 31 PTB release date with new DBD killer and survivor teasers explained.

It’s been a good start to the year for Dead By Daylight. The release date for Alan Wake was only a few weeks ago at the end of January, and the unique perks and abilities of Alan Wake are definitely worthy of the dream crossover. While Alan Wake is the latest survivor to join the fog, the newest killer is Chucky with the introduction of a third-person camera for the first time ever.

While Chucky and Alan Wake have been great baddies and goodies for episode 30.5, we are set to finally move on to Chapter 31. The full release date won’t arrive until March, but players on Steam will be able to enjoy the PTB very soon.

Dead By Daylight Chapter 31 PTB release date

The release date for the Dead By Daylight Chapter 31 PTB is February 20th. BeHaviour Interactive has shared a DBD roadmap for 2024, but they have also shared a monthly roadmap for February. This February roadmap lists February 20th as the next PTB date. Below is everything else listed in the February overview:

Dead By Daylight Chapter 31 new killer, survivor teasers

BeHaviour Interactive has been sharing teasers for the new upcoming DBD Chapter 31 killer and survivor. Unfortunately, these teasers have largely been shared on the official deadbydaylight Instagram account, and they are in the format of reels meaning they’re no longer uploaded to Instagram.

Fortunately, these teasers have been preserved on the DBDNews Discord channel. You can also find all of the uploaded teasers by scrolling through dvveet‘s Twitter account. We officially know that the new killer and survivor are original, while the teasers seem to point to an onus on found footage.

Rumors suggest that the survivor is female, meanwhile, the teasers seem to suggest that the killer is a crawling monster and is perhaps a skinwalker. No full image of the killer has been shared, but, in the teaser reshared by Dvveet below, you can just barely make out its arm as it seemingly crawls along the forest.

How to play DBD Chapter 31 PTB

You will only be able to play the upcoming Dead By Daylight Chapter 31 PTB on Steam. Provided you own the game on Steam, follow the below steps come February 20th:

• Right-click Dead By Daylight in your Steam library 
•  Select “Properties” 
•  Head into “Betas”, then select Public Test Build from the list
