David Williams has revealed his heartbreak after being friend-zoned by former Neighbors star Natalie Imbruglia.
The Little Britain comic admitted she fell for the ripped singer 'like a ton of bricks' but she didn't feel that way.
The pair were often spotted together in London in 2015, sparking romance rumors at the time.
David, 53, has split from ex-wife model Laura Stone and is heartbroken with Natalie, 49 – but he only sees her as a close friend.
Speaking to Fitzy and Whippa on the Australian radio show, Kate RichDavid said: 'She's become a great friend to me. You know when that happens, you have a huge crush on someone and you envision yourself getting married and what your kids look like? And you're totally friends.'

He added that Natalie saw him as a 'gay best friend' because of his camp humour.
David told hosts: 'We haven't gone on any dates. We became very good friends and we stayed together.
'But you know, it's hard not to fall for her like a ton of bricks because she's amazing. I think I'm seen by many as a gay man's best friend.
Reflecting on why things never progressed romantically, David joked: 'Well, look at me. Let's be honest, she could do better.
David was married to Dutch model Laura Stone before dating a string of high-profile women over the years, including Geri Halliwell and model Abby Titmus.
The couple, who share 11-year-old son Alfred, split in 2015, with the divorce court hearing lasting 60 seconds.
David, who stepped down from his Britain's Got Talent judging role in 2022 after making 'disrespectful comments' about contestants, is now back. Working on new projects with Little Britain co-star Matt Lucas.
Matt appeared on This Morning in early October and was asked about rumors of a reboot for a new generation.

Appearing on Matt Little Britain, he teased the possibility of the show coming back, saying it was a long time coming, but said they were 'developing ideas'.
Teasing the possibility of the show returning, Matt said: 'What we're doing is working on some different TV ideas, and maybe ideas in other mediums, and it's been a long time to do things together again. . So we're developing different things.'
It comes after Little Britain returned to BBC iPlayer in 2022, with blackface scenes cut by producers, after being pulled from the service in 2020.
Certain scenes were promised to have been removed by creators Matt and David, and advisory warnings were used at the beginning of some episodes.
Some of its characters were retained, including Vicky Pollard and wheelchair-user Andy, with others including Matt's gay Welshman Taffyd Thomas and David's 'cross dresser' Emily Howard.
As part of the show's 2022 revival, characters in blackface were removed, including other racial stereotypes such as Pastor Jesse King, Desiree DeVere, and Thai bride Ding Dong.
In a statement at the time, the BBC said: 'Little Britain is available to fans on BBC iPlayer following revisions made by Matt and David to the series to better reflect the changes in the cultural landscape over the past 20 years since the show. First done.'
