Despite designer David Beckham's 'disciplined' diet, for 25 years he has revealed the food he cooks for his wife Victoria on their cozy nights out.
The footballer appeared on Rio Ferdinand's podcast when he was asked about his favorite dinner while cooking for his wife.
David shared: 'Well, Victoria always likes it, she loves grilled prawns, so to start I'll make her some grilled prawns with avocado and then for the main course I'll make seaweed, but I'll bake them with salt. '
Rio continued asking, “So for dessert, what does she want for dessert?”
David later added, “I'm not sure she actually ate dessert.” So that's what I'll do for her and then I'll make myself a nice ragu with fresh pasta.
David Beckham has revealed what he cooks for his wife of 25 years Victoria on their cozy date nights, despite the designer's “disciplined” diet.
The footballer appeared on The Rio Ferdinand Presents podcast, where he was asked about his favorite dinner while cooking for his wife.
Even when it comes to cooking, the former England star added that he remains a perfectionist.
He said: 'Well, since the documentary, everyone's been talking about the mushroom moment. Many people like the care and concern I put into roasting mushrooms.
“But that's the thing, I think if you're going to do something, you should do it to the best of your ability.” That's how I've always done things. And even in the kitchen I have to do it well.
'I went through a phase last week when I was in Miami and I was with Sergio Busquets and we were talking about food, we were talking about Spanish food.
And he said, “Oh, I make a perfect Spanish omelette”… and I had the perfect Spanish omelette in my head. I did it for a week and made Spanish omelette every day.
'But you know what? Everything comes from my mother. You know, where it really is.
'When I was little my mother let me cook with her. And then obviously when I moved to Manchester, when I moved into my own house, you know, I cooked. And I love to cook….
'But you know what? I love the culinary part of it, but I think the most important thing is, looking back, I think the reason I love it so much is because I'm creating something for someone who is going to eat it.
Victoria is well known to have a limited diet, but during a recent chat with Grazia magazine, she insisted she wouldn't go so far as to give up her favorite wine and that she likes to have “a good time.”
'Above all it is my family, my children and my wife. I love seeing their reactions to food. And most of the time they are good reactions. But it's really when I have the whole family around me. That's what I like.
But, you know, I'm not crazy about Michelin-starred restaurants. I'm excited about the pie and mash. I get excited. As for fish and chips, I'm passionate about all food, you know, not just high-end restaurants.

However, he admitted that his diet was 'disciplined': 'I'm like that. I'm going to make the most of it and work hard.
'I am very disciplined in the way I eat, in the way I exercise and in the way I work. That's what I am.'
This downplays her ex-husband David's extreme eating habits, revealing that Victoria has been eating the same food every day for 25 years: grilled fish and steamed vegetables.
“I'm passionate about food and wine, and when I make something great I want everyone to try it,” he said.
'Unfortunately, I am married to a man who has been eating the same thing for the last 25 years!
Even when it comes to cooking, the former England star added that he remains a perfectionist, as he teased a clip of roast mushrooms in his latest Netflix documentary.
'Since I met her she only eats fried fish [and] Boiled vegetables. He rarely deviates from it.
'She always shared what was on my plate when I was pregnant with Harper, which was the most surprising thing.
'It was one of my favorite nights. I don't remember what it was, but I know she didn't eat it.
