Coronation Street murder declared as legend is rushed to hospital in 21 photos

Coronation Street is planning for an incredibly dramatic week, as confirmed in my new photos, with murder on the line – and suspects in large quantities.

Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) and Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) study CCTV footage of a train station car park, where they see Joel Deering (Calum Lill) and his father around a cupboard.

Determined to get answers, they request Gus' presence at the police station. But the answers the cops seek arrive by the end of the week – although not exactly in the way they expected.

Three guys spot a body floating in the water and, yes, it's Joel.

Kit breaks the news to Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown), while DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) informs everyone at the Rovers.

Things then take another turn, with the autopsy confirming that Joel was dead before he entered the river, which raises the question of who is to blame?

There are suspects everywhere and the police waste little time investigating, but what will happen?

And who will point the finger at them?

Elsewhere, Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) tries to do something nice for his father Nick Tisley (Ben Price) and Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson), hoping to reunite them, but ends up hurting himself, which leads to a hospital visit.

Meanwhile, Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows) becomes angry with Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King) when Mason reveals that the special worker found him a place to live. Afterwards, the chef tells Yasmeen that he is thinking about moving to Germany to be with Eliza and Dom.

But will this be his exit story?

Coronation Street airs these scenes between Monday 7th October and Friday 11th October at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
