Developers in the survival genre are constantly looking for new scenarios to let players live out unique opportunities that would otherwise be dangerous. Today, desert-survival Wildmender from Muse Games has launched to allow players to go from a small oasis to an expansive garden inside of the desert as they go from surviving to thriving.

Like other popular survival-exploration games, players will spend the majority of their time in Wildmender exploring the world and uncovering its secrets. When not out, they will essentially terraform the desert to create a safe haven and a much larger oasis free of the dangers in the sandy areas beyond. In the launch trailer, players can get a better idea of the gameplay.

The game can be enjoyed alone or with multiple friends working together to build and decorate your new homes. As opposed to harsher survival titles, Wildmender has more of a cute look that seems like it’s easier on the player. The cute designs of the animals, fungi, and even the player models may show this inclination as well.

The title is out today on PlayStation, Steam, and Xbox platforms, but it’s currently unclear if this includes crossplay since there is no mention on the store pages or the press release sent out earlier this morning.
