The list is available on the official page of the regulatory agency. According to Anatel, around 21,000 telecommunications companies across the country have been notified since Thursday (10), which will take a few days to block betting sites altogether.

“From Friday 11 October, it will be the responsibility of each provider to take the necessary technical measures to implement this resolution. The time to implement the blockade will depend on the measures used by the providers and according to their specifications”, Anatel said in a statement.

The deadline for withdrawals from races not authorized to run in the country ended on Thursday (10). Anyone unable to withdraw within the deadline should contact consumer protection agencies. If there is no response, the state police should file a complaint.

Another possibility is to contact the State Attorney's Office, which may take joint action against the same website. This is because the agency can identify refund requests for the same betting page.

The Ministry of Finance published the list of authorized companies to operate in the country on 1st. According to the latest update, the national list includes 210 races from 96 companies and 18 companies in four states: Paraná, Maranhao, Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais. These companies have sought recognition from the ministry's prizes and betting secretariat by September 30.

The negative list of races that were banned from operation took a long time to draw up. According to the finance ministry, the deadline is necessary because the department has to legally justify denial of authorizations. However, Minister Fernando Haddad asked the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting to come forward and publish a list of irregular bets.

Despite having more than 2 thousand pages, the negative list contains some similar addresses, but they lead to the same betting page. In one case, the same company produced ten addresses with minor differences in the final digit. However, upon clicking, the user fell into the same bet.

The Brazilian Association of Internet and Telecommunications Providers (Abrint) said blocking access to unregulated online betting companies represented a “significant technical challenge” for Internet service providers. According to the company, enforcing these restrictions requires strong efforts, in addition to complying with a comprehensive list of domains.

“It insists that the ban in question is temporary, allowing access to be re-established for companies that regularize their situation in the future. It is worth remembering that this type of activity requires strict planning and coordination among the parties involved in order to ensure users. “Rights are protected and internet service providers are able to carry out activities effectively and efficiently,” the association says.
