I play a lot of games of all genres, and I can say with certainty I am the worst in the world at multiplayer shooters, but even I got into Call of Duty Warzone for a while, mostly as the designated bullet magnet. Soon, everyone can take the enticing gunplay on the go with the upcoming release of Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile.
For the past year, Warzone Mobile has been in Limited Release, with the developers gathering feedback from players and squashing some pesky bugs, and now the global release is imminent. Set for March 21st, it will launch with two huge maps.
We will be going back in time, to when Verdansk was still standing, no spoilers. The classic battle royale mode will take place here, with up to 120 players back to this legendary map to scour, shoot, and scavenge to victory. Accidentally walk into a grenade and get your head explosively separated from your body, and you can fight to revive in the original Verdansk Gulag.
For those who prefer more fast-paced action, head to Rebirth Island in the Resurgence mode. This is a 48-player mode with a smaller map size so the bullets will fly non-stop. Soldiers will even respawn as long as someone else on the team is still active, skipping the lengthy Gulag process. Or, enjoy some classic Multiplayer modes like Domination, Team Deathmatch, or Search and Destroy.
If you are a regular Call of Duty player, then you are in luck, as Warzone Mobile will share progression from the PC and console versions of Warzone and Modern Warfare 3. Simply log into your Activision ID and you will benefit from the shared Player Level, Weapon Level, and Battle Pass Progression.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will release on March 21st for iOS and Android. Pre-order now to get access to The Ghost Condemned Operator Skin, Foes Flame Vinyl, Dark Familiar Emblem, and blueprints for the M4 Archgiend and X12 Prince of Hell.
