“We were hoping to get married in May, and May came and went too soon,” she told People magazine in a joint interview with Scott in June.
'School, both of our kids will turn 16, get their driver's licenses, and Sierra graduated from USC. Neria must be on tour. “We just finished building our house in Arizona,” Brooke continued.
'Let alone plan the biggest party of our lives, we don't have a minute to breathe. So let's go back to the drawing board. We must be very busy now.'
Scott shared his own view of the situation: 'I think it's an experience for us. I mean, the only reason to do it is for the kids, for us, and for the family. That's why we want to do it well. “We don’t want to rush.”
He added: “I said we could always get married on a weekend or plan something quick, but we want to do it right.”
