Brie Larson says Chappelle was “not doing well” after meeting Ronan while dating Saoirse Ronan.
On Thursday, the 35-year-old actress took to Instagram to share photos of Ronan and her friends meeting Ronan after one of her recent concerts in Europe.
In the group photos, Larson hugs Ron, born Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, and the singer's mother, Kara Amstutz.
The Captain Marvel star, who put on a leggy display in a pink tweed miniskirt at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation in August, was dressed in red for Ron's The Midwest Princess Tour.
“Neither perfect nor great at the same time,” she wrote with a red heart emoji and captioned her triptych as she tried to explain how she felt meeting the singer.

It comes after it was announced that Larson will make her West End debut in a revival of Greek tragedy Elektra in early 2025.
The Oscar-winning actress will star in an adaptation of Sophocles' play, translated by poet Anne Carson and directed by Oklahoma's Daniel Fish.
Elektra will perform at the Theater Royal Brighton in January before moving to London's Duke of York Theater for an 11-week season.
Announcing the news, Per Varietilarsson said she “couldn't be more excited.”
“I couldn't be more excited to be in this Greek drama or to be in great company with Daniel Fish and Anne Carson,” she said.

Elektra follows a woman haunted by the murder of her father.
In the work, written by the ancient Greek tragedy around 420 BC. C., she is consumed by pain, the need to survive and the thirst for revenge.
When her long-lost brother Orestes finally returns, she tempts him to a cruel and horrible end.
The production will run in Brighton from January 13 to 18 before moving to London from January 24 to April 12.
