Sharna Burgess has responded to allegations that she and fiance Brian Austin Green 'forced' their children to 'be girls'.
The Dancing with the Stars pro, 38 — who recently debuted her new, bold red locks — opened up about the topic on Wednesday's episode of the Moms Between Us podcast.
At one point, the dancer was asked if she could do a reality TV show with her family – and she revealed that she would never do it.
Burgess said she wanted to keep her children 'out of it' and added, 'We've already had media articles like I'm forcing Jane to be a girl because she hasn't cut her hair yet.
Or the cynics say that children are forced to be girls. I don't understand that.'

The beauty shares son Jane, two, with Brian – who got engaged a year ago in 2023.
The Beverly Hills, 90210 actor was previously married to Megan Fox from 2010 until their divorce was finalized in 2021.
The former couple share sons Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, eight, while Green is also father to Cassius, 21 – who he welcomed with ex Vanessa Marcil.
Sharna continued, 'So imagine we're doing a real reality show. Attention isn't healthy for our kids, and it certainly isn't Brian's style.
The star also shared her thoughts on her children wanting to follow in their parents' footsteps and work in entertainment.
'Whether they choose to be in this industry because they want an art form that's in the public eye, we'll address that,' Burgess explained on the podcast.
On Sharna and her family having a reality show, he revealed, 'We have people interested and I understand why.
'I'm sure people would love to know what goes on in our house and our not-so-busy chaotic lives, it's fun, but it's not just me.'

However, Burgess added, 'I'd love to keep my kids out of it, and I'm sure Brian and Meghan would. I want to keep them out of it.'
During the interview, the beauty later explained, 'I've worked in reality TV so I can handle it a bit more, but I also like my privacy a lot when it comes to certain things.
'I'm happy to share what I think is helpful – we do on the podcast – but my home is sacred, my family is sacred, and I want to protect that as much as possible.'
In July last year Sharna hit back at the 'ignorant' trolls when she supported putting a pink scrunchie on her son Jane's long locks in an Instagram story.
At the time, she previously uploaded a photo of the little one wearing a hair piece to keep some strands out of her face.
In the clip, Ber addressed some of the criticism she's received on Us Weekly, saying, 'Some of my DMs were really mad at me for doing that.'
She added, 'Someone commented this morning that her hair dye was pink.
Then she explained, 'This whole “pink is for girls” thing and I'm putting on a pink hair tie. [doesn’t] Identify anything. “Long hair is feminine or for girls” I don't understand.
In July last year, Sharna hit back at 'ignorant' trolls as she supported her son Jane's long locks with a pink scrunchie in an Instagram Story rant.
'I mean, excuse me, have you seen Jason Momoa?' she revealed. 'I should do an all men post where most of the women and probably most of the men are attractive and many of them have long hair.'
The pro dancer added, 'It's cruel to me that as kids, it's like we're forcing some agenda on them. It's so stupid.
In response to a fan's question about 'does she let Jane's hair grow long like her brothers', which appeared in a box on the reel, Sharna replied, 'I'm letting her son's beautiful baby hair grow to its full potential'. '
In a caption added to the top of the video, she wrote, 'I'm sorry I asked this person, don't be mad at ignorant narrow minded people and you who are offended by their dumb comments.'
In June 2023, Brian stopped the claim that he and Fox were 'forcing' their sons to wear women's clothes.
Austin responded to Robbie Starbuck saying that Meghan and Brian's two children said, 'The girls were forced by their mother to wear girls' clothes as their nanny tried to comfort them.'
Speaking to TMZ, Bryan said, 'This is a completely bogus story. There are very few people in their world who can verify whether such a story is true or not, and I can tell you for sure that it is not.
The star added, 'This person trying to claim it's true is a perfect example of someone who has selfish motives that don't negatively affect the parent-child relationship.'
In June 2023, Bryan and Fox also shut down claims that they were 'forcing' their sons to wear women's clothes.
Before the father-of-five slammed the claim, Robbie took to Twitter and wrote: 'We lived in the same gated community and our kids played in the park.'
'I saw 2 of them completely distraught as their nanny tried to comfort them and their mum insisted they wear women's clothes. This is pure child abuse. Pray for them.
After the divorce, Brian and Megan co-parented their children, and Sharna previously opened up about the co-parenting relationship between the two exes.
On the No Hollywood Podcast she said 'the relationship is fine' because 'the focus is on the kids.'
