Baldur’s Gate 3 is an epic adventure that is arguably game of the century let alone year of 2023. Everybody loves its spellbinding visuals and turn-based combat, but what fans adore the most is the companions. All of the companions are amazing from Astarion to Shadowheart and Laezel, and another fan-favorite is the fiery tiefling, Karlach. We previously reported on this bodybuilder’s Baldur’s Gate 3 Karlach cosplay when it was a work in progress, but it is now finished and the final result is a devilish masterpiece.
Larian Studio’s epic RPG was officially crowned game of the year at this year’s Game Awards. It wasn’t nice seeing the crew hurried off stage during their final speech, but the award was well deserved as the game is a breathtaking spectacle that has only gotten better since launch thanks to continuous free updates adding more content. Baldur’s Gate 3 is finally on Xbox, so now Microsoft console loyalists can join in the fun rather than side eyeing PlayStation and PC users with green envy.
While the combat, visuals, and RPG choices are a huge part of what makes the game so successful, so too are the characters. All of the companions have quickly gathered huge fandoms, and this has resulted in lots of cosplays such as this masterpiece portrayal of Karlach.
Finished Baldur’s Gate 3 Karlach cosplay is a masterpiece
This finished Baldur’s Gate 3 Karlach cosplay from maximumclaire on Instagram is remarkable. We previously reported on this Baldur’s Gate 3 Karlach cosplay when it was just a work in progress showing the face, horns, and hairwork. Now the full result is out and it’s a perfect mirror of the in-game model and design.
The face, hair, and horns are just as 10/10 as previously reported, but now there’s the full getup to admire. The leather armor is an identical recreation of the gear Karlach starts with in-game, and the bodypaint shows rough and burned skin from her time in the fiery hell of Avernus. In behind-the-scenes reels for the photoshoot, you can also see her rocking the curling tiefling tail, and you can see her infernal engine lighting up on her shoulders.
Other noticeable attention to detail worth pointing out includes the yellow cat eyes, the white, pointy fangs as teeth, and the large sharp ears. Of course, the wig is immaculate too, as are the devil horns found on every tiefling with different shapes and sizes. As with Karlach in-game, one of the horns is broken, whereas the other is long and curls.
