Blood-soaked owner reveals how evil bulldog Sookie ATE her own puppies – just days before the crazed canine tried to eat a woman alive with two other dogs

The bulldog was shot dead with two other dogs after savagely attacking a woman who had eaten her own puppies days earlier, its owner admitted to Daily Mail Australia.

The three crazed animals tried to eat Jordan Garrett alive after the attack at a house in Dandenong, in Melbourne's southeast shortly before 10am on Thursday.

Police had to open fire on the dogs as they tore Mrs. Garrett apart, shooting two dogs five times and others three times before the carnage was stopped.

Now the owner, who Daily Mail Australia calls Jenny, has revealed how her two pets – male Johnson bulldog Snookie and female pitbull terrier LaLa – were raised alongside five young children.

Still wearing her blood-soaked T-shirt from the previous day's attack, she explained that her ex-partner's bulldog, Shady, was the third dog killed by police.

The victim was the ex-partner's new girlfriend, Jenny said.

The police tried to stop the attack using capsicum spray, but they continued to attack Mrs. Garrett and had to be shot dead.

Video captured the horrific attack, but the footage is too disturbing to publish.

Speaking on the lawn of the property where the dogs were killed, Jenny said she had just returned from the local veterinary clinic where she said goodbye to her beloved pets, who she had given a final hug before their cremation.

Jenny had left her two dogs in the care of her ex-boyfriend, whose companion of just four months was attacked by the animals.

The mother of five said she raised Sookie and LaLa from the time they were puppies. Sookie was three years old while LaLa was about to turn two.

“I’ve had them since they were six weeks old,” she said. 'They were beautiful dogs.

'Look at me, I'm covered in their blood. I just went to the vet to say goodbye.

The dogs' bullet-riddled bodies were left in the yard by police after they were shot to death.

Jenny claimed the drastic change in the dogs' personality was caused by external influences triggered by recent changes to her ex-boyfriend's Ross Street property, where the attack took place.

She said she abandoned the body of the third dog from the attack, belonging to her ex-partner.

“I put that dog in the trash can,” she said. 'They brought a truck and I lifted that dog and put it in it.

'I thought they were coming in a vehicle, but it was a hard garbage truck.'

Jenny, who does not live on the property where the attack took place, said she split from her boyfriend about a year ago.

'Sookie and Lala were our dogs and then I left him and he got another one,' said Jenny.

Shady recently gave birth to four puppies, but a couple were eaten by the puppies' father, Sookie.

“Sook ate some,” Jenny said. 'Because they don't separate them… he's a man, that's what they do.'

The devastated dog owner said she believed the victim was trying to get her dogs to “like her”.

“And she went there,” said Jenny. 'You can't leave because Sookie kept biting people.'

Jenny dismissed reports that her dogs had become agitated by a previous visit from police, who arrested a young man at the property on an outstanding warrant.

— I heard that on the news too. I heard it was her dogs,” she said. “It was my damn dogs that got shot. Five bullets in each.

Police fired a total of 19 shots in the chaos, 13 of which hit their target, Jenny said.

Despite LaLa's role in the attack, Jenny insisted her pit bull had been a gentle soul when he was in her care.

'Don't put in the media 'pitbull this, pitbull that' because that dog, I tell you, was a beautiful dog. She was beautiful,” Jenny said.

She insisted that she treated her dogs well while in her care.

“I’m not addicted,” she added. “I probably look like one right now because I haven't slept and I'm covered in blood.”

Ms Garrett remains in a critical condition at Dandenong Hospital and police are investigating.

It has now emerged that Garrett was attacked by one of the animals earlier in the week, according to a neighbor who said the dogs had been a concern for some time.

'I was home sick from work and heard screams and bangs,' the neighbor told The Age.

“Then the police arrived and the shooting started.”

It turns out shocking CCTV footage has emerged of an attack allegedly involving one of the animals in July.

The footage, published by the newspaper, shows a large white and brown dog attacking a much smaller Shiba Inu, who squeals and screams in pain.

The Shiba Inu's owner screams and falls to the ground during the attack, before a male bystander runs over and begins kicking and punching the larger dog in an attempt to get him to stop.

The man shouts 'let go' and 'don't stop' repeatedly as he tries to fend off the dog.

Greater Dandenong City Council said it had received several complaints about dogs at the property and was prosecuting a resident of the home, who is not the victim, over the July attack.

The matter is expected to go to court in November.

Several dogs remained inside the Dandenong home on Friday.

A neighbor who lives on the same street said there were five dogs in total on the government property.

It is understood the woman lives in the house with several other people.

“I was walking home and there was a lot of shouting and screaming,” the neighbor told Daily Mail Australia.

“Then the police arrived and you heard gunshots. I saw the lady being placed in the ambulance and she was in very bad shape.
