Diablo 4 developer Blizzard is conducting a special incentivized event as part of its kickoff celebration for the ARPG’s second season, the Season of Blood. Entitled the Diablo Blood Harvest, people who donate blood to their local clinics can unlock rewards for all players, which include exclusive weapon transmogs, unique character cosmetics, and a ghostly one-of-a-kind mount.
With most fans already applauding the updates made to the game after progressing through their Diablo 4 Season 2 journey, these additional rewards for a good cause have predictably been welcomed with open arms by the community once again. Before these goodies can be claimed, though, the developers have announced that a donation goal must be met, though they are yet to provide a specific number.
According to the event’s official site, though, progress is already at 6% at the time of writing after only being announced recently, so the community is well on its way to reaching the goal. In addition, Blizzard also revealed that once they’ve received “666 quarts of blood from willing sacrifices,” they’ll be unlocking a sweepstakes where you can win a “blood-infused cooling computer” that even Lord Zir would be jealous of.
If you’re looking to chip into the Diablo Blood Harvest, all you’ll need to do is donate blood to your local clinic. Afterward, head to the aforementioned site and submit your Proof of Blood Donation, which will be your blood donation confirmation email. You can also upload an image of a document you’ve received from the clinic itself as proof. Your contribution should then count towards the meter that’s steadily ticking upward on the blood donation progress page.
If you aren’t able to donate blood, there’s also no need to worry, as the developers have stated that the rewards will be available for all once the goal has been met. If you’ve already donated or you simply want to wait until the donation meter’s been filled, check out our guides on where to get Biteberry in Diablo 4 and where to find Living Steel in Diablo 4 to keep you busy until then.
