Black Myth Wukong sells over 10 million copies in its first three days of release

The game also reached over 3 million concurrent players across PC, and PS5, with over 2 million coming from Steam, which saw the game jump to the second most played game of all time, only behind PUBG.

This milestone will make it one of the best-selling games of 2024, with the likes of Helldivers 2, Palworld, and College Football 25 currently edging ahead. But, with the game being just days old at this point, there is every possibility that it could claim the top spot if the hype continues to grow over the coming weeks and months. The popularity of Black Myth Wukong can’t be overstated, with the game leading to a shortage of PS5 consoles in China as players flocked to stores to grab the system so they could jump into the new Souls-like title.
