But Big Brother fans rolled their eyes during Tuesday's show when Ali sensationally vowed to leave the celebrity house before making a shocking U-turn.
After another match with Khalid, Ali announced that he wanted to leave the show.
After telling half the women of the house he was leaving, Ali went to the diary room and after an hour's deliberation, backed out of his decision.
She said: 'It's okay, I'm going back home now. I'll try not to get mad.'

After an hour's deliberation, Ali backed down from his decision after half of the house told him he was leaving and went to the diary room.
But fans weren't so convinced, and while one branded his U-turn 'iconic', another was unimpressed by the 'terrible' move.
Elsewhere, the house was rocked by another rule break, which meant they lost the reward from the task they had won just hours earlier.
Lily and Martha are the targets of Big Brother's punishments after discussing the nominations again.
Big Brother said: 'Housemates you have done it again, despite being made clear more than once, the rule regarding discussion of nominations has been broken again on two separate occasions.'
'Lily, at 10:07pm in conversation with Dace, Emma and Baked Potato you said: 'I know who nominated me'. Sarah enters the conversation and you tell her: 'I know you recommended me'.
Lily said: 'I don't want to be punished anymore.'
Big Brother continued: 'Then at 10:21pm in a conversation with Sarah and Isaz, Martha you said the following: “They're really strong characters, Dace is a great character.”
'Sarah, you said: “Whatever it was about, it totally put me at ease”. Martha, you replied: “I did not vote for any of them”.
As soon as news of the rule breach reached the house, Big Brother said: 'Lily wake up, Martha wake up. You've left me with no choice but to punish you, and you two will stay in Big Brother's prison garden until further notice.
The rest of the house were also punished for disobeying Big Brother's rules.
Big Brother announced: 'Also, housemates, the house has not complied with these ground rules, so you have lost your reward and the hot water will be turned off again until further notice.'
Lily and Martha are then forced to spend the rest of the evening in jail, and at 1am are told their sentences are up.
