The Big Bang Theory has confirmed three of its stars are returning for the upcoming spinoff.
Development of the latest installment was initially slated for April 2023 with co-creator and executive producer Chuck Lorre attached.
The details were kept under wraps, as Lorre told TVLine last November that the show wasn't fully revealed: 'You don't talk about the birth until the second trimester, I believe it's the rule. It's a long way to say no, and I don't say anything about it other than what we're discussing.'
Now, it has been revealed that the show is moving forward with Lauren Lapkaskevin Sussman and Brian Posehn confirmed to reprise their roles.
If the show comes to fruition, it would be the third spinoff from the original and fans have had mixed reactions so far.

The Big Bang Theory concluded the 279th and final episode of the CBS show's 12-season run in April 2019.
Earlier this year Parsons reprized his breakout role as physicist Sheldon Cooper at Caltech for the spin-off series finale of Young Sheldon.
He said it was 'very different' but 'very beautiful'.
“The Big Bang Theory has always been a live-audience show and Young Sheldon is a single-camera show,” he explained to Today host Craig Melvin in March.

Brian Posehn will reprise his role as Bert Kibler and Kevin Sussman will be Stuart Bloom in the new series.
He added, 'I got to do it with Mayim – we both played Sheldon and Amy in the series. To do it in that situation, it was creepily weird.'
Young Sheldon, starring Ian Armitage as the boy genius version of Sheldon, ended its seven-season run on May 16.
Mayim rejoined Parsons in her role as Amy Farah Fowler from the series Parents.
Parsons said, 'It felt like a great little coda to the whole experience, and I was grateful that they asked us to do it.'
