If you want a high-end tablet but don’t want to get into the Apple ecosystem with an iPad, then you’ll want one of Samsung’s slates, which are easily at the same level. The best of the lot is the Galaxy Tab S9, so if you’re looking for something that’s on par with the best Apple has to offer, this is it. There are also a few different choices in terms of storage and RAM, so you have a bit of leeway with what you want to pick.

That said, much like with Apple’s high-end stuff, bargains can be hard to come by. Still, you can get trade-in credit, and there are free storage upgrades that’ll show up as $120 discounts.

Best Galaxy Tab S9 deals

Samsung is offering a few ways to save on its new Galaxy S9 tablets. There’s a free storage upgrade on all three models, which means you’ll get the 256GB model of the S9, or the 512GB model of the S9 Plus and S9 Ultra, for the same price as the basic configuration. That saves you $120. If you need even more storage, you can save $150 on the 1TB model of the S9 Ultra as well.

You can save even more if you’ve got an old device to trade in. Tablets from Apple and Samsung will net you enhanced trade-in credit worth up to $800, but you can also trade in old phones or smartwatches for a smaller discount. Samsung even accepts select tablets in damaged condition, so you may be surprised what your cracked iPad is worth.

You’ll also get a few bonuses with the purchase, including six free months of Microsoft 365 Basic, four months of YouTube Premium and two months of Adobe Lightroom if you’re a new subscriber. You can also save $190 on a Galaxy Watch 6 and $130 on a pair of Galaxy Buds 2 Pro when bundled with this purchase.

Like Samsung, Amazon is offering a free storage upgrade on S9 tablets, but it has only the basic S9 and the S9 Plus available. Though it doesn’t have the same storage upgrade as the Samsung discount, you can get $70 off the S9 512GB model, bringing it down to $850.

Sadly, Best Buy doesn’t have the storage upgrade discount like some of the other options here, but you can get up to $300 worth of trade-in value.

B&H Photo isn’t offering any trade-in discounts, but you can get $70 off the Beige Tab S9 512GB version, which is $70 cheaper than the manufacturer’s suggested retail price.
