The MCW is arguably the best weapon in Modern Warfare 3, and you can make it even better if you have the best attachments, equipment options, and perks. So, to help you make the best MCW build in MW3, here is this guide that breaks down the best MCW attachments, loadout, and perks.

Best MCW attachments in MW3

  • Stock: SL Collapsed Stockless Mod
  • Barrel: Second Line Mammoth Heavy Barrel
  • Magazine: 40 Round Mag
  • Optic: MK. 23 Reflector
  • Underbarrel: XRK Edge BW-4 Handstop

The MCW already comes with some amazing stats, but this build focuses on giving it more mobility and handling while boosting damage, accuracy, and range.

My first recommendation is the SL Collapsed Stockless Mod. This stock is unlocked at MCW level 25 and it improves the overall speed of ADS, movement, hip fire spread, and aim after slide speed with MCW by a lot. You’ll sacrifice some accuracy and recoil control, but we’ll get that back in other ways.

The next best attachment for MCW is the Second Line Mammoth Heavy Barrel. This barrel unlocks at MCW level 18 and it’s incredible because it improves the damage, range, accuracy, mobility, and handling of the MCW and you’ll only lose some hip fire spread and sprint to fire speed.

Next, the 40 Magazine Round is really nice to have as it slightly decreases your mobility and handling, but you’ll be able to shoot a lot more rounds before needing to reload which is great for getting two or three kills in one magazine. This unlocks at around MWC level six.

I despise the iron sights on MWC so upgrading the optics is necessary. You can go with the MK. 23 Reflector at first. It’ll take leveling the MCW to around level 10 before you get it, but it’s worth it.

Lastly, the XRK Edge BW-4 Handstop Underbarrel is a great attachment that gives us an extra boost to accuracy, recoil control, and mobility. This unlocks around MCW level 12.

Best secondary, tactical, lethal, and field equipment for MCW build

Best Mcw Build In Mw3 Loadout
Screenshot: PC Invasion
  • Secondary: WSP Stinger
  • Tactical: Battle Rage
  • Lethal: Frag Grenade
  • Field Upgrade: Comm Scrambler

For the rest of the best MCW build loadout, we’re gonna go with WSP Stinger since it’s a solid weapon to whip out when you need to secure a kill.

The vest we’re selecting allows us to get two tacticals and no lethals, but if you choose a different vest, I recommend Battle Rage for your tactical and Frag Grenade for your lethal. Battle Rage will allow you to stay in the fight for longer and Frag Grenade is simply the best grenade option.

I stand behind Comm Scrambler being the best field upgrade in the game, so I recommend that for the best MCW build. You can also peep the best killstreaks to make sure you’re good to go there.

Best gloves, boots, gear, and vest for MCW build

Best Mcw Build In Mw3 Perks

  • Gloves: Commando Gloves
  • Boots: Stalker Boots
  • Gear: Mission Control Comlink
  • Vest: Infantry Vest

As far as perks go for the best MCW build in MW3, I’d go with Commando Gloves because ammo isn’t a concern and neither is quickly swapping to your secondary. The best perk is Commando Gloves because you reload as you sprint.

For boots, I’d go with Stalker Boots so that you have even better ADS and strafe speed. Thanks to our vest, we get two gear and I’d go with Mission Control Comlink and Bone Conduction Headset. You’ll get your killstreaks faster with Mission Control Comlink and be able to detect the direction of footsteps and gunshots more easily.

The best vest for this build is the Engineer Vest which highlights enemies spotted when ADSing and you’ll see enemy equipment and killstreaks through walls. Your field equipment will recharge faster and you’ll get two gear slots in exchange for your lethal.
