In House Flipper 2, you will do a lot of work with the structure you start with, but sometimes you need to add a bit using available resources. Here is our guide outlining the best Building practices in House Flipper 2.
House Flipper 2 – best Building practices
The Building tool isn’t available from the start of the campaign. Instead, the game walks you through a lot of cleaning exercises. If you buy a house and it has holes in its deck or whatever, you won’t be able to rectify the issue until you gain the appropriate tools. For that reason, I suggest that you play until you gain the Build ability, and only then tackle more advanced projects.
Once you access the Building tool, you’ll also have the Demolish tool. In my experience, the walls you need to destroy don’t overlap with the ones you need to build. You either patch up an existing wall that has some holes, or you build an entirely new one. Either way, the process is about the same.
To build a wall, start by bringing up the Build tool to map out where you wish to make your build. You will see a greenish outline of a brick, if you’re pointing your cursor somewhere suitable. Remember that if anything is in the way, it will prevent you from being able to build. Even something minor like a poster gums up the works. In such a case, the outline you are piecing together turns from green to red to indicate a conflict.
Before you confirm that you want to start your build, aim the cursor where you would like the lower corner of your wall. Confirm that position to select first point. Next, spread the green outline to the opposite lower edge you had in mind and select second point. Finally, adjust the height as needed and select last point.

Once you have mapped out the placement of your wall, press and hold the button or key indicated on-screen to start the actual build. A row of bricks will spread across the screen, then some mortar, and then some more bricks.
As you build more, you unlock perks to speed up the process. In particular, Perfect duo eliminates the need to apply mortar separately. Brick by brick allows you to speed up the process. As bricks fill across a row, point your cursor at that row to speed it up. Then do the same with any subsequent rows. Once you get in the groove, this helps things along quite a lot. The final perk, Construction manager, makes supplies cheaper. It’s nice when they do less to harm your budget. By the time I unlocked it, however, finances weren’t a major consideration.
