If you’re a Switch player looking vainly for a chance to play Bendy And The Dark Revival, a recent leak will be music to your ears. Some eagle-eyed spotters over at the gaming leaks and rumors Reddit noticed that an Entertainment Software Ratings Board page had Nintendo Switch listed under the platforms, meaning Nintendo fans should get access to the rubber hose nightmare quite soon.
Spoiler alert for anyone who wants to experience the game totally untouched, the ESRB.org page does reveal the result of a scene regarding the main character that might be too specific for your liking.
Some of the general remarks sound absolutely charming. “Cutscenes depict further instances of violence: a figure pushed into a chamber of spinning blades (camera cuts away).”
Well, as long as the camera cuts away.
Fear Ink-arnate
Bendy And The Dark Revival is the hotly-anticipated follow-up to the cartoon-themed horror game Bendy And The Ink Machine, it gives you a glimpse into a twisted alternate reality, where everyday individuals find themselves pulled into a warped version of an animation studio, populated by horrifying creatures.
In The Dark Revival, you take the role of Audrey, an overworked artist who finds herself putting in extra hours at Arch Gate Pictures. She runs into the place’s janitor, Wilson, and they get talking. Little does Audrey realize that Wilson has some hidden intentions, and he pulls them both into the nightmare parallel world, known as The Cycle.
Trapped and changed into an unsettling new form, Audrey must navigate the evil place and find some way to escape. Though many of its denizens won’t make that easy for her.
These Characters Don’t Look Too Friendly
There are creatures made from ink, butchered versions of the once-beloved characters the studio created, and at the center of it all a demon made of ink… though we won’t spoil too much for you.
There are no words on any release dates right now, but we’ll keep an ear to the ground for any news.
