She finally broke her silence on their failed romance last week, describing her heartbreak as 'sad' and 'terrible' in a risqué shoot for Interview magazine.
Affleck, 52, was seen with a sad expression on his face when he arrived to grab a cup of iced coffee with the assistant this week.
He was dressed for fall, layering a wine-red wool-striped jacket over a cream shirt buttoned over a T-shirt.
