Battlefield 2042 never really managed to recover from the tough start it endured where its player numbers are concerned, but DICE has continued to update the game with new content, more of which will be coming soon. Season 6: Dark Creations will go live for the multiplayer shooter on October 10, and DICE and EA have released new trailers to offer new details on what it will bring.

The headlining addition for Season 6 will be a new map, called Redacted. Set in a secret underground facility in Scotland, the map will be designed around claustrophobic indoor environments, close-quarter combat, and tense shootouts in contained areas.

Additionally, Season 6: Dark Creations will, as always, also bring with it a new Battle Pass, with 70 of its 100 tiers being Premium (read: paid), with a number of unique skins available for players to unlock. On top of that, you can also expect new weapons, new gadgets, and a new vehicle. Check out the trailers below for more details.

Season 6: Dark Creations will also be available for free to everyone from October 12-16.

Battlefield 2042 is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
