Developer Larian Studios has revealed interesting new player stats for Baldur’s Gate 3, this time around surrounding the player base’s choice of multi-classing combinations. Taking to the PlayStation Blog, product manager Emily Gera has decided to further inspire the player base by offering the studio’s own suggestions for potentially powerful multi-classing combinations.
Going by the charts of the 20 most popular combinations, the most popular combination of classes seems to be Rogue and Ranger, with around 175,200 players opting to go that route. Following in close behind is the combination of Barbarian and Fighter with 158,161 players, and a distant third place is Barbarian and Paladin, with 109,926 players. The least popular multi-class combination seems to be Fighter and Warlock, with 63,977 players.
Larian’s suggestions include a combination of Paladin and Warlock to make use of the Warlock’s Pact of the Blade to further strengthen the Paladin’s other abilities, Rogue and Monk for players that would prefer to go for many smaller attacks each turn, Tempest Cleric and Storm Sorcerer to stack lightning damage, Druid and Barbarian for the combination of the Druid’s Wild Shape and the Barbarian’s Rage mechanics, and finally, Sorcerer and Warlock for spell casting synergies.
Baldur’s Gate 3 was released on PC back in August, with the PS5 release coming in earlier this month. The game is also slated to come to Xbox Series X/S at a later date.
