Jamie Foxx opened up about his mysterious health scare during a one-man show in Atlanta.
Foxx, 56, took to the stage for the first time since her health scare for “One More Chance: An Evening with Jamie Foxx.”
“God is good… As I post these photos, my heart and soul are filled with pure joy… On October 3, 4th and 5th, I had the opportunity to tell my side of the story and there was no better place than Atlanta, Georgia,” the “Django Unchained” actor wrote on Monday. Instagram.
“When people ask me if it's stand-up, I say no, it's an artistic explanation. Something went terribly wrong, but thanks to the wonderful people in Atlanta, especially Piedmont Hospital, you made it possible for me to come back, perform on stage and do what I love most…” he added.

Representatives for Foxx did not respond to Fox News Digital's immediate request for comment.
In July, the Oscar-winning actor spoke to concerned fans outside a restaurant in Phoenix, Arizona, where he tried to provide answers about what happened when suffered “medical complications”.
“Listen, April 11 last year, bad headache, I asked my boy for Advil,” Foxx said before snapping his fingers. “I was gone for 20 days.”
“I don't remember anything,” Jamie told fans at the restaurant. “So they told me – I'm in Atlanta – they told me, my sister and my daughter, they took me to the primary doctor and they said… 'No,' they gave me a cortisone shot.
“The next doctor said, 'There's something going on upstairs.' I won't say it on camera, I won't say it on camera, but it was…” Foxx said, nodding thoughtfully.

Corinne Foxx revealed on April 12, 2023, that her father was recovering from medical complications.
“Fortunately, thanks to quick action and great care, she is already on the road to recovery,” she wrote on social media at the time. “We know how much he is loved and we appreciate your prayers. The family requests privacy at this time.”
Foxx has not yet revealed his medical condition.

According to IMDb, the Grammy winner has eight projects planned for the future, and he finished filming “Back in Action” last year after production was halted due to his illness scare.
During this time, production continued with a double until Foxx returned to the set.
Cameron also appears in the film Diaz returns to the silver screen after her last starring role in 2014, where she worked alongside Foxx in “Anna.”
