Autocannon + Cookout is the best combo you can use in Helldivers 2, claims YouTuber

The Breaker Incendiary Shotgun has been the meta weapon to fight the Terminids for a long time now, but that recently changed following the Escalation of Freedom update. After fire was nerfed along with the Shotgun also receiving a downgrade, it has left many players looking for a new loadout to serve Liber-tea with, and we may have the answer that you’ve been looking for.

ThiccFilA recently posted a YouTube video where they took on the Terminids in the new level 10 Super Helldive difficulty while using the Cookout Shotgun and Autocannon Stratagem. In the video, he calls the Cookout Shotgun “S Tier” while also noting that it is a better weapon than the Breaker Incendiary in most situations.

The video also shows the Cookout Shotgun in action, with ThiccFilA using it to take out the weaker enemies, as well as letting enemies such as the Hunter die from fire damage. He then uses the Autocannon to take out larger enemies such as Chargers, as well as utilizing Stratagems such as Precision Strikes, stating that this is the meta and primary weapons were never designed to take out heavily armored enemies. He also suggests using the Grenade Launcher as an alternative to the Autocannon.

As with any live service game, the meta regularly changes as new weapons are added and balance changes are made, and Helldivers 2 will go through its ups and downs, as has been the case with other titles such as Fortnite and Call of Duty. While this loadout seems to work well for the Terminids, the Automatons require different strategies.
