ARK Survival Ascended is a fantastic remake of ASE. We haven’t received a new map for ASA since launch, but Studio Wildcard is set to deliver the first new playground of the year. Here you will find the ARK Survival Ascended The Center map release date window so you know exactly when it is planned to come out provided no last-minute delays occur.
Before this new playground arrives, make sure to enjoy the ASA Love Evolved Valentine’s event before it ends. The event is set to finish on February 20th, and it is a celebration of all things love and Cupid. Some of the highlights include new Love Bug creatures along with unique event skins that perfectly befit the loveliest time of the year.
Now, once the event ends, fans will swiftly be treated to the release date for The Center map. While no specific launch day has been confirmed by Studio Wildcard, it is set to come out before the end of the month.
ARK Survival Ascended The Center map release date
Studio Wildcard has not announced a specific launch day, but they have confirmed that the ARK Survival Ascended The Center map release date will land at the ‘end of February’. This presumably means it will arrive in the final week of the month which stems from February 26th to the 29th.
Confirmation of the above comes courtesy of their Community Crunch 392 blog post. No delay has been announced so far, but there’s always the chance one can occur as the launch of ASA on Xbox and PlayStation consoles was riddled with last-minute postponements.
ASA The Center map details
In addition to announcing that the ARK Survival Ascended The Center map will come out before March, developer Studio Wildcard has provided the following description:
‘The Center is a sprawling, diverse map that will redefine your ARK experience. Lush jungles teem with hidden secrets, treacherous ice peaks pierce the sky, and crystalline caverns beckon with untold treasures.’
In addition to a new playground to explore, The Center map will introduce a new dino creature, Gigantoraptor. This is a ‘feathered behemoth’ with a territorial attitude. You will be able to try to tame it, or you could always tuck your tail between your legs and ‘respect its territorial might’.
