Anime Last Stand Dark Captain Guide
In this guide we’ll break down every aspect of the Dark Captain Unit from Anime Last Stand. Before we start, it’s worth noting that you may see this Unit referred to as Yami in discussions around the game. Yami is the name of the Black Clover character this Unit is based on, but the actual in-game name is Dark Captain.
How To Get Dark Captain
You can get Dark Captain through the game’s gacha Summon system. He’s a Mythic-rarity Unit, which means he’s available on both Banner 1 and Banner 2. In Banner 1, when Dark Captain is present, you’ll have a 0.5% chance to roll him. This chance doubles to 1% in Banner 2. While it is more expensive Emeralds-wise to roll on Banner 2, your chances of getting the Mythic you want are much better, so this is the way to go.

How To Use Dark Captain
So what’s the best way to use Dark Captain during gameplay? While he looks like a fairly standard Ground Unit on the surface, he gains the ability to apply the Slow status to enemies once he hits Upgrade 4. Once applied, this reduces the speed of the enemy by 33%, and doesn’t wear off. For this reason, you’ll want to place him as close to the enemy spawn point as possible, to get Slow in early and really make the most of it.
In terms of Techniques, the best option for Dark Captain is Shinigami. This gives huge boosts to Damage and Range, as well as a nice SPA reduction. It also doesn’t restrict you to just one Dark Captain placement like Overlord or Avatar, so it lets you take advantage of the fact you can place 4 of him by default.
