Today Bandai Namco revealed three new playable characters who will appear in the upcoming anime-inspired fighting action game Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash.
Specifically, welearn that Aoi Todo, Jogo, and Hanami are going to be playable in the game and we get to see some of their powerful moves.
They add to the previously revealed characters, Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, Satoru Gojo, Ryomen Sukuna, Maki Zen’in, Toge Inumaki, and Panda, who were showcased in previous reveals.
The reveal was accompanied by a trailer, which shows the characters in action in gameplay. It’s a good chance to see how the anime’s popular characters are translated into 3D models.
The trailer also showcases the fact that the game’s combat has a 2 vs 2 setup, with characters able to launch simultaneous attacks.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash was originally revealed at Anime Expo last summer.
It’s coming for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch and the release date has recently been revealed as February 2, 2024.
If you’re unfamiliar with the Jujutsu Kaisen IP, it originally debuted in 2018 on Weekly Shounen Jump with a manga series by Gege Akutami. Due to the success of the manga, an anime series followed suit and started airing in 2020. Both the manga and the anime are currently still ongoing.
Video games adapted from Shonen Jump manga and anime are certainly Bandai Namco’s bread and butter. the publisher is also about to release Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections.
It’s developed by the usual CyberConnect2 and coming in North America and Europe on November 17 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
