In Assassin’s Creed: Mirage, to get better gear like weapons and outfits like the Hidden One’s robe, you must find them in Baghdad. They are usually in well-fortified areas, but when you get them, sneaking around may be worth it. The chests that are filled with gear look much different than the normal ones. They are bigger and stand out more and that makes them easier to spot. If you want to get better gear for Basim, this is one of the ways to do so. On top of that, the game is short, and just like other loot, it could add more play time to the game. If you want to learn all the gear chest locations in Assassin’s Creed: Mirage, read this guide.
Assassin’s Creed: Mirage – All gear chest locations
There are around 30 gear chests scattered throughout Baghdad, with each region having different about three per. When opening the first chest in a new region, you’ll always get either a weapon or an outfit. The second chest will be whichever one you didn’t get in the first. For the third chest, you’ll always get an upgrade schematic, provided you’ve got the weapon and the outfit. Plus, each area will have a specific set, so you don’t have to search around Baghdad looking for the rest. I also recommend like other chests and collectibles to use Enkidu to spot them when you’re nearby.
Some aren’t straightforward to access and will require you to search for clues to enter them. The map below will go over each location, this way you can have a better idea of where they are and what to do. I also recommend when you’re near one, have Enkidu go into the sky to help get the exact location while you’re sneaking around. Be careful though, as mentioned, each chest might be in an area with a lot of enemies, so prepare beforehand.
