Assassin’s Creed: Mirage is probably one of the shorter games in the series, and for good reason. It gets you in the action quickly and without any filler. However, because of its length, you may get through the story in less time. On the other hand, Ubisoft has littered the map of Baghdad with a bunch of collectibles like Mysterious Shards. Searching for these items can serve two purposes. One, most can give rewards when you complete them, and the second is that you’re able to explore Baghdad better. Lost books are something you can collect — on top of that, you can find them in some interesting spots in Baghdad. For help finding all book locations in Assassin’s Creed: Mirage, use this guide.
Assassin’s Creed: Mirage – All book locations
The lost books are mostly all in central Baghdad and will have a golden book icon. The mission that you need to search for the books lasts the whole game or until you find all of them. It’ll trigger when you meet Al-Jahiz for the first time in western Baghdad. Who, by the way, was a real person, and his role in Assassin’s Creed: Mirage is almost identical to his real-life counterpart. This element stays true to a lot of what makes Assassin’s Creed interesting to play. That the many characters that meet the assassin exist in real life.

To help you pinpoint the location of these books, use your Eagle Vision. Like most collectibles, they have golden silhouettes. The map below will show you the exact location of these books.
Rewards for finding all the books
When you collect all seven books, head back to Al-Jahiz. Give him all the books and you actually will receive a reward, which is a Talisman. These items don’t have attributes, but they do make Basim look cool. So, you can customize him as much as you want.
