Author Alexandra Janel publishes her first book, “The Master of Red Dragons: People Beyond the Veil,” which depicts Thorman's world of dragons, wizards, and elves facing off in epic battles. The story highlights themes such as respect, relationships, and current social issues.

Driven by his passion for books and poetry, the author began his career as a writer as a child. “I won a book of poems by Vinicius de Moraes. Noah's ArkWhen I was still a child. It affected me deeply and inspired me to explore writing,” says the author.

Alexandra participated in literary competitions throughout her life, racking up awards and recognition, but it was the encouragement of family and friends that led her to take the next step. “I was told many times that I should write a book and I finally decided to try it. That's when the idea for 'The Red Dragon Master' started to take shape,” he explains.

The universe of “Master of Red Dragons” is beyond traditional imagination. Although set in a medieval era, Jannell uses the story to explore contemporary issues such as abortion, homosexuality, and the role of women in a patriarchal society.

“I want readers to see Thorman as a magical world. It is also where the struggles we face in real life occur,” noting that the characters in the plot are inspired by real people.

According to him, many characters are based on people who have influenced his life in one way or another. “There is a lot of me in the story, especially in the themes I wanted to address like relationships and the search for honor and justice,” he admits.

Development of book writing to combine functional elements. The author has done in-depth research on mythology and lifestyle in medieval times. “During the investigation I became interested in many things. He made mead with natural yeast, experimented with medieval smoking techniques and other techniques of the time,” he reveals.

The creative process of the book was light and fluid, however, Jannel admits that facing the writer's death was one of the most difficult moments. “Killing the characters was a big challenge for me. I connected with many of them and every time I could I postponed the moment of killing someone,” he reveals with a smile.

Still close to the premiere of “The Master of the Red Dragons”, Alexandra is already planning a sequel to the saga. “There are many more stories to tell in Thorman,” he says. Along with this, the author is working on the development of a new project called “The Witch in the Summer Lands”, which should tell the story of the expansion of the universe created by the author.

The author believes that his work goes beyond entertainment and provides readers with important reflections. She believes that readers can create all the characters and struggles in their minds, and will connect with the novels and the deeper themes the story addresses.

For her, respect is one of the central concepts of the book. “I want our world to have the same respect that dragons have shown throughout history. They are great people and I hope this message resonates with readers,” he concludes.
