Apple Arcade prepares to add two incredibly stellar titles to its line-up

Whether or not you support streaming services in games, it is hard to argue that at least Apple Arcade is well worth the money. It’s not the most expensive, and it has some excellent titles like Sneaky Sasquatch and Oceanhorn, and next month will add two further, absolutely superb titles to the roster.

If you are a fan of roguelikes or deck-builders, then you will want to check out Monster Train+. You act as the protector of the final pyre that can reignite a currently frozen hell and must defend the train carrying it from the forces of heaven. It is an interesting concept and a fantastic game.

You have a choice of six clans which will affect the Hero you control and the cards you can draw out of the over 250 options, and you get the option to pick a secondary clan to add some of their cards to your rotation. The Arcade version even comes with The Last Divinity DLC, bringing the additional Wurmkin clan.

The second new title is the rebranded Retro Bowl, which was genuinely one of the greatest mobile games ever made. Thanks to an agreement with the NFL and NFLPA, this classic will be coming back with a fresh coat of paint as NFL Retro Bowl 25. This adds official NFL teams and players to put together your own dream team.

Retro Bowl is a fairly simple yet incredibly captivating American Football simulator, with swipe controls for passing and throwing. You get to be in charge of a club, hiring and firing coaches, recruiting new talent, and taking on the draft each year to find the next superstar. It is a truly fantastic title and worth the cost of a subscription alone.

Both of these titles will be available September 5th, provided you are signed up to the Apple Arcade.
