STUCK WITH HIM

Re: Who’s next? The contenders to replace a troubled Justin Trudeau, online, July 29

Stop it! He’s not listening or leaving. Where else would he get a cushy “job” like this?

The UN is already a mess so he can’t further wreck that. The G7 partner countries don’t need an economic illiterate. The NATO (No Action Talk Only) is perfect, but he’s not a paid-up member.

The World Economic Forum (WEF) requires even more wealth than he has. The IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) already has Al Gore.

Solo environmental activist, but Greta Thunberg would thump him to a pulp.

President of our EV Society promoting mining and chemical use? (Oops, Steven Guilbeault has that.)

Canada has no recall legislation, no impeachment process so we can’t fire our Papineau Prince. We are stuck with our mistake.

Or he can be poster boy for “Just Say No.” Are you listening, PP?

WILL COST US ALL

The greed for continued power by Doug Ford will cost all of us. The move to “more convenience” in purchasing alcohol will double the impaired driving death rates.

All the misinformation will not change the results. Alcohol users are in favour of this move. What about those of us who only want safe roads? Those of us who only want to get home to our families alive?

Whether Ontario gets money from LCBO or retailers is a big concern for the logical citizens. Sober up and think this through!

MUST REDUCE IMMIGRATION

There is an urgent need to reduce immigrant intake.

Trudeau has brought in millions of immigrants in the past four years. The Bank of Canada has claimed record high immigration is driving up housing prices. There are millions of Canadians without a family doctor and health care is on life support nationwide. Obtaining affordable housing in urban centres where the vast majority of immigrants end up is basically non-existent.

When Trudeau’s group for most studies, the McKinsey Group, arrived at Canada requiring a mind-bogging 500,000 immigrants annually, none of these serious issues seemed to have been seriously considered. Now that Canadians are being negatively impacted by Trudeau’s politically motivated mass immigration, they are viewing mass immigration differently.

Let’s hope matching immigration to Canada’s actual economic needs and not simply political ones is seriously debated in the next federal election.
