Core Keeper Will be Available at Launch on Game Pass

Having spent more than two years in early access and enjoyed its fair share of success with over 2 million units sold already, Core Keeper is now gearing up for its full release, and as that milestone draws closer, developer Pugstorm and publisher Fireshine Games have made another major announcement.

When Core Keeper launches in full a little over a month from now, it will also be available via Game Pass on PC, console, and cloud day and date, it has been announced.

“We’re so excited to bring Core Keeper to Xbox Game Pass players on day one, and let them jump into the game’s enchanting subterranean world as a solo explorer or online with friends,” said Sarah Hoeksma, Chief Marketing Officer at Fireshine Games, in a press release. “Core Keeper is a compelling mining adventure that blends base building, fishing and farming with crafting, boss battling and much, much more, and we can’t wait for so many more players to discover the game at launch with Xbox Game Pass.”

Of course, Microsoft did recently announce changes to Xbox Game Pass, with the subscription service’s base tier having been discontinued for new members. Later in the year, the company will replace it with the new Xbox Game Pass Standard tier, which will not include day and date releases like Core Keeper.

Core Keeper will leave early access on August 27. It will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Head on over here for more details on what its 1.0 release will bring.
