Zoochosis Launches on September 23rd for PC

Some games, like Frontier’s Planet Zoo, invite you to care for animals and ensure their survival. Then there are titles like Clapperhead’s Zoochosis, a survival horror title from the perspective of the bodycam where the animals want to take care of you (and not in a good way). It’s out on September 23rd for PC – check out the latest trailer, courtesy of IGN.

Zoochosis sees the player as a zookeeper on a night shift. The process is pretty straightforward, as you prepare meals and whatnot, until a parasite starts spreading, transforming the animals into terrifying, ravenous body horrors. Your job is to help them, using an injection gun with cures to stop the parasites.

Interestingly, one’s choices of rescued animals and the methods for curing them will influence the ending. If there is a “good” ending, achieving it may be easier said than done with the Cronenbergian creatures running around.
