After announcing 2.62 million sales as of March 31st, Capcom has revealed that Dragon’s Dogma 2 has sold three million copies. In a new tweet, the development team thanked fans and said it was “grateful for your continued support.”
Available on March 22nd for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC, the open-world action RPG takes place in a new world that’s over four times larger than the first game’s. As the Arisen, players venture through Vermund and Battahl to hunt down the dragon that stole their heart. They’ll recruit various Pawns and utilize Vocations for different abilities, like the Archer, Mystic Spearhand, and more.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 has received extensive critical acclaim since launch – check out our review, where we awarded it a 10 out of 10. However, it’s also received complaints regarding its performance, especially on PC. Capcom has promised improvements to the frame rate in future updates (the most recent nerfed Dragonsplague), so stay tuned in the coming months.
Thank you to the 3 million Arisen who have embarked on adventures in Dragon’s Dogma 2! We are grateful for your continued support.
