EA will kick off F1 weekend with ‘The 10 Racers’, a star-studded virtual race in F1 24, featuring F1 stars like Charles Leclerc and Alex Albon along with celebrities and content creators. The event will be streaming today at 2:00 PM ET on the Formula 1 YouTube channel, hosted by Naomi Schiff and Matt Gallagher.
“The 10 Racers brings together the best of Formula 1 talent with a mix of celebrity fans to deliver a fun-packed race evening to kick off our F1 24 launch celebrations,” said Lee Mather, Senior Creative Director at Codemasters. “F1 24 is the most authentic Formula 1 game to date, and our challengers will get the chance to step inside the paddock and feel like one of the 20 when the lights go out.”
F1 24 will release on May 31 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, via EA App, Epic Games Store and Steam. Players purchasing the digital exclusive F1 24 Champions Edition will receive early access for up to three days, starting on May 28.
