Danny Devito wants to be Wario in Mario Bros. sequel

In a recent interview, veteran actor Danny Devito said he would be “up for” taking on the role of Wario should the character appear in a Super Mario Bros. sequel.

In an interview with YouTuber The Movie Dweeb, Devito was told how fans would like to see him take on the role of Mario’s rotund, yellow, rival. You can check out the interview below.

Devito is known in recent years for his iconic raspy voice and the chaotic energy he brings to the show It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Fans also famously requested the actor to play Detective Pikachu in the titular film, a role which was eventually picked up by Ryan Reynolds.
