Highlights
- A player has transformed Starfield with over 100 Star Wars mods, creating a whole new experience that fans are loving.
- DeityVengy showcased a mod collection turning Starfield into Star Wars.
By decking out their copy of Starfield with over a hundred mods inspired by Star Wars, one player has managed to turn the Bethesda sandbox into a completely different experience altogether. Though Starfield broke several Bethesda records at launch, the game’s overall reception among fans has been notably mixed, with only 41% of its recent Steam reviews having a positive score. Despite this, many players feel that Starfield has a lot of untapped potential – potential that could come to fruition through Shattered Space and the Creation Kit.
While Shattered Space, the first expansion pack for Starfield, won’t be out until Fall 2024, the modding community for Starfield has managed to create an extensive list of quality additions to the base game even without the aid of a Creation Kit. An improved user interface, more ship manufacturers, and even graphical overhauls have contributed to making Starfield an even better experience on PC. That being said, many of these mods have also added Star Wars content to the game, and one player had the idea of collecting them all together.

Starfield Fans Are Loving the Game’s Latest Update
Starfield’s latest big update seems to be a huge hit for fans as players praise many of the new improvements Bethesda has brought to the experience.
DeityVengy, a YouTube content creator who primarily covers MMOs, released a video that highlighted his mod collection for Starfield that converted the game’s Settled Systems into something more closely resembling a Galaxy Far Far Away. Random civilians were replaced with several iconic Star Wars aliens, and Stormtroopers were added to New Atlantis in place of its security officers. By contrast, Akila City was turned into a stronghold for the Rebel Alliance, and all weapons in Starfield have been replaced with suitable Star Wars counterparts.
Starfield Player Turns the Game Into the Ultimate Star Wars Experience
Though the mod pack (and Starfield itself) allows players to build their character however they want, DeityVengy showcased their modded playthrough as a Mandalorian bounty hunter wearing Din Djarin’s iconic armor. Quite fittingly, the grav jump ability from Starfield is replaced by a Mandalorian jetpack, allowing players to fully immerse themselves in combat. While the modding community is severely restricted by a lack of official modding tools for Starfield, the amount of changes that they were able to implement is nothing short of impressive.
While Starfield has fewer active players on Steam than Skyrim, Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout 4, and Fallout 76, the mod pack assembled by DeityVengy proves that the latest Bethesda title shouldn’t be written off just yet. The developers have provided players with frequent updates over the months since launch, and have recently added a much improved city map to the game. If the team at Bethesda sticks the landing with Shattered Space and the release of the new Creation Kit, Starfield‘s dedicated community will take care of the rest.
