Biden Reveals He Has No Idea When He Was VP, and What He Called J6 People at NAACP Dinner Is Hilarious

He’s so far gone at this point, it’s truly concerning.

This Graph on the Economy May Be the Most Damaging for Biden for the 2024 Election

Joe can talk all he wants, but this is the reality. There’s a reason he’s hemorrhaging voters, and why states no one thought would be in play are now in play.

Judge Aileen Cannon Is Concerned, Disappointed in Jack Smith’s Treatment of Sealed Materials

Not a banner day for Jack Smith.

WHAT’S ON TAP?

Today on Capitol Hill…

As it’s Monday, there aren’t a lot of hearings set — only one, in fact: The House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Tax is hosting a field hearing in Erie, Pennsylvania, on “Creating More Opportunity and Prosperity in the American Rust Belt.”

No word yet on whether a food fight is scheduled in the House Dining Room.

White House What’s Up

President Joe Biden will return to Washington, D.C., from Wilmington. In the evening, he and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff will speak at a Jewish American Heritage Month event at the White House.

Full Court Press…

It’s on again. Former President Donald Trump’s Manhattan criminal trial will resume Monday, with Michael Cohen back on the stand for the remainder of the defense team’s cross-examination. It sounds as though the prosecution may rest on Monday, and at last word, the defense was only planning on calling one witness. So, it’s possible the evidence will be complete by the end of the day.

Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ) will be in court in the Southern District of New York (just a few blocks away) for the start of week two of his criminal trial.

Across the pond, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange faces a hearing in the UK’s high court that will determine whether he is extradited to the United States to stand trial on espionage charges.

MORNING MUSING

It was a toss-up Sunday as to which of my articles would evoke more rancor: the one in which I had the gall to mention I value my family and home life more than my career(s) or the one in which I reported on Judge Aileen Cannon’s disappointment in Jack Smith. The jury may still be out on that, and one should never discount the thrall of TDS, but I still maintain discussions surrounding women and the whole career vs. family dynamic are the most likely to evoke the fury. Either way, happy to contribute to the outrage conversation…

LIGHTER FARE
