The new Helldivers 2 Premium Warbond titled Democratic Detonation was released earlier this week, adding three new weapons, three new armor sets, three new utility items, and multiple cosmetic items. Unfortunately, Democratic Detonation hasn’t been a huge hit with fans, with some calling the new weapons “absolutely garbage.” One of the items included, the CE-27 Ground Breaker armor, was released with incorrect stats and Arrowhead Game Studios has acknowledged it and it will be fixed in a future update.
Spitz, the Associate Community Manager for Helldivers 2, took to Discord to share information with players saying,
“Regarding the CE-27 Ground Breaker armor, we’re aware of a slight mixup that resulted in it going live with the Servo-Assisted passive instead of the Engineering Kit passive as advertised. This should be changed back in an upcoming hotfix – please keep this in mind if this armor is one of the reasons you’re thinking of purchasing the new warbond!”
It is great to see that Arrowhead Game Studios is actively working to fix its mistakes, but as of right now, there isn’t any date for when the update will go live. But, the developers do fix things quickly so it will likely come early next week ahead of the next major update. The most recent update, the 01.000.202 patch, was released on April 9th, so it will likely be another week or so before the next major update is released.
While balancing weapons and armor can be a tricky process, when democracy is on the line there isn’t time to wait for Arrowhead Game Studios to fix things, the fight is happening right now and you need to get on the frontline.
