However, the larger supermarket in town, JojaMart, is in constant competition with Pierre and offers a cheaper alternate route for progression in Stardew Valley. Pierre, who is considered polarizing among some members of the Stardew Valley community, became the target of a bit of Joja trolling, thanks to Update 1.6. The massive patch now allows players to place furniture items in NPC homes and shops, making for the perfect redecorating opportunity for humorous fans. Utilizing JojaMart branded carpets, crates, shopping carts, and even a Joja Cola fridge, SeriousDirt redesigned Pierre’s shop in a hilarious homage to his most despised competitor.
