They are significantly stronger than regular mobs and drop specific materials used to ascend relics.
Honkai: Star Rail‘s weekly bosses appear in Echo of War, an in-game mode that is unlocked after finishing the “In the Dangerous Muddy Swamp” quest. Players can take on these enemies three times a week to get items like relics and ascension materials. In addition to Destroyer’s Final Road and Guardian’s Lament, Trailblazers can earn Lucent Afterglow by defeating them in special areas. There are currently four weekly bosses in Honkai: Star Rail: Doomsday Beast, Cocolia, Phantylia the Undying, and Starcrusher Swarm King, that have different elemental weaknesses.
Honkai: Star Rail 2.2 Leak Reveals Harmony Trailblazer
A Honkai: Star Rail beta leak provides details about a brand-new Trailblazer, who will reportedly follow the path of Harmony.
Recent beta leaks from Astute and Guraleak have revealed a colossal boss that will be added in Honkai: Star Rail‘s version 2.2. The creature has a creepy ceramic face, long arms, and a sheer size like other weekly bosses in the space RPG. It looks like a male version of Ena the Order, one of the divine beings in the game’s story. According to early leaks, the boss drops some rare items, including the Ashblazing Grand Duke relic set and a Light Cone.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.2 Weekly Boss
- Location: Echo of War
- Drops: The Ashblazing Grand Duke set, What Is Real Light Cone, Lucent Afterglow,
- Elemental weaknesses: Lightning, Imaginary, Quantum, Physical
The boss will allegedly have a weakness against four elements: Physical, Quantum, Imaginary, and Lightning. Also, it will receive three layers of Toughness, meaning players will be able to trigger Break Damage three times against it. Characters who rely on Honkai: Star Rail‘s Break Effect could become increasingly popular in the next version.
It was recently leaked that some enemies, including the upcoming weekly boss, will receive additional layers of Toughness in Honkai: Star Rail‘s next version. This change would make it possible to trigger the Break Damage and utilize weaknesses multiple times in combat. Using some specific Honkai: Star Rail characters like Ruan Mei, Xueyi, and Gallagher, players will likely defeat bosses that have multiple Toughness bars more easily.
Aside from the Echo of War boss, Honkai: Star Rail will feature a series of events in the next update, including the Legend of the Galactic Baseballer that involves multiple challenges. The upcoming events will give out plentiful rewards, such as Refined Aethers and Stellar Jades, but they will be removed from the game after a few weeks. Besides limited-time festivities, Honkai: Star Rail‘s version 2.2 will add new Light Cones that are locked behind a limited-time banner. Players will use Rail Passes to add them to their collection of weapons.
