Helldivers 2 is currently one of the most popular games of 2024, with it regularly seeing over 200,000 concurrent players on Steam and over eight million copies sold. Since it released in February, players have put in hundreds of hours taking out the Terminids and Automatons, with the most hardcore players managing to reach all the way to level 50, the maximum level currently obtainable in the game. These players have gotten ahead of the curve as The Illuminate looks to be the next threat coming to Helldivers 2.
A veteran Helldivers 2 player took to Reddit to share their experiences as a level 50 player. The player details how they now spend their time helping out low level players, with their new teammates cheering them on as they take down every Charger and Titan standing in the word of victory. The moment was topped off by the squad getting all of the samples which led to the team thanking u/Wolfreck for helping them get the samples for the first time.
Many players in the community came together to share this wholesome moment with u/Wolfreck, with u/Virtual-Patient-3113 saying that they “love this community,” and u/Horu_hosu stating that by doing this for low level players it “makes them feel like actual heroes.”
It isn’t an easy task to reach level 50 in Helldivers 2 and it requires many hours of finding the Terminids and Automatons.
