Cursed Sea Races
Like other RPGs on the platform, Cursed Sea offers up different races that come with their own buffs and appearances. Each race also has a specific drop rate chance!
Human
The Human race has a 68% chance to drop, making it the most common race to obtain in Cursed Sea. The singular buff that the Human race provides is the +20% Stamina regen! If your character is a Human, it has no special design details and looks like a standard avatar.
Demihuman
You have a 10% chance to obtain the Demihuman race! Your movement speed gets a 2x boost… and that’s it. It’s not the best race in the game, but a faster travel speed is always a plus. The Demihuman has a few variants, with different animal ears, and a human body.
Moonborne
With a +1% DMG resistance buff, the Moonborne can take a few more hits in battle. It’s not a major buff, but it certainly helps in those trickier fights. As the Moonborne are from the moon, your avatar’s skin looks like the night sky. Like the Heavenborne and Demonborne, you have a 1% chance of obtainment.
Waterborne
This race has a 10% chance to drop, and for good reason. Compared to Humans, the Waterborne receive 2 buffs. Firstly, your movement speed in bodies of water is increased! Secondly, any water DMG that you take from opponents is cut in half, making you semi-resistant to certain attacks. Your avatar’s skin turns dark blue like an oceanic creature!
Demonborne
The opposite of Heavenborne, the Demonborne race is from the hells below! Your M1 attack scales by +1, giving you the upper hand in battles. You get some cool horns on your head too! This race has a 1% chance of dropping.
Heavenborne
You’ve got a 5% chance to get this race that descended from the heavens. Your HP regen gets a +5% buff, allowing you to replenish your health even faster during and outside of combat. In terms of the appearance of the Heavenborne, your skin turns paper white, and you have some nifty angel wings!
Best Races
So, which is the best race in Cursed Sea? Surprisingly, I think the Waterborne race has the most bang for your buck. It’s more common than Demonborne, Heavenborne, and Moonborne, and it comes with 2 buffs. Despite the latter 3 having a 1% chance to drop, they only come with 1 buff, and they really aren’t that special. Plus, the Waterborne have a unique design, so it’s a win-win.
