A few Genshin Impact leaks give players a glimpse into Petrichor Island and new desert areas that will be released in version 4.6. Genshin Impact marches toward version 4.6, which will see the addition of the long-awaited Fatui Harbinger, Arlecchino. Interestingly, recent leaks indicate that the upcoming character will be introduced as a weekly boss. She will have her own trounce domain, in which players will have to win a two-phase boss battle to earn valuable rewards.
According to beta leaks, Genshin Impact version 4.6 will introduce new explorable sub-regions, Petrichor Island and Bayda Harbor, to fill the gaps between the countries of Fontaine, Liyue, and Sumeru. While the former will reportedly be found on the north side of Vantana, the latter will be located far from the mainland. As of writing, not many details have been revealed about these zones yet, but reliable leakers claimed that they will feature a ton of content.
Rumor: Genshin Impact Leak Reveals New Character Related to Cyno
Concept art of a new playable Genshin Impact character is making the rounds, as he is set to make his appearance during Cyno’s second Story Quest.
Some recent Genshin Impact version 4.6 leaks from Uncle Dog and Uncle Bomb have given players an insight into Petrichor Island and new desert areas. Petrichor Island seems to be a peaceful place featuring a humble town and some natural beauties like a rocky mountain and small lakes. It serves as a gateway into an underwater section where players might encounter humanoid enemies. The mysterious creature in the leaked image of the underwater section looks identical to an elite enemy that had been leaked earlier today.
Genshin Impact Version 4.6 Could Expand Sumeru Into Underground Sections
As for the new desert-themed areas, they will likely be a part of Genshin Impact‘s Sumeru region. From the looks of it, the entire region has a unique architecture that invokes ancient Egyptian temples. The leaked images show some intricate structures, such as sculptures and shrines, that should be connected to the Sumeru story. It will be interesting to see what new content the underground section of Sumeru has to offer.
In addition to new sub-regions, Genshin Impact version 4.6 will feature events players can participate in and gain rewards, including Hero’s Wit and Primogems. The flagship event of the forthcoming update will supposedly be the “Arataki Life Rock Rainbow Grand Tour,” which will take place in the Inazuma region. It’s safe to assume that it will unveil some new details about Arataki Itto’s story. In version 4.6, the fan-favorite domain event, Vibro Crystal Research, will also be available again for a limited time. Based on calculations, Genshin Impact‘s next major update will go live in April 2024.
