With planned new characters, new bosses, and other things available to buy via microtransactions, the next patch for Granblue Fantasy Relink is focused around the super boss, Lucilius.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink – when is the next update?
The next update for Granblue Fantasy: Relink – patch 1.1 – is scheduled to go live on Thursday, March 14 2024. The release date for Granblue Fantasy: Relink patch 1.1 was confirmed by the official Cygames Twitter account and via the official website.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink version 1.1 will go live at some point on March 14, but a specific time has not been confirmed. When it does, there will be a brand new quest to tackle. We expect it will be another Proud difficulty-level quest, where you face off against Lucilius.
The quest is called The Final Vision. Whether this will be tougher than Proto Bahamut remains to be seen, as do the rewards we will get for beating Lucilius. Perhaps we might find new weapons, more powerful than the Terminus Weapons?
What’s new in Granblue Fantasy: Relink 1.1?
Other than the new boss, it doesn’t seem like any new content is being added. Cygames has confirmed that more item packs will be available as microtransactions, letting you buy valuable items such as Damascus Ingots, Ambrosia, and Azurite’s Splendor. Here is all the new paid content that will be added to Granblue Fantasy: Relink in patch 1.1:
- Emote Expansion Set: Let’s Chat
- Self-Improvement Pack 1
- Weapon Uncap Items Pack 1
- Weapon Upgrade Items Pack 1
- Sigil Upgrade Items Pack 1
It should be noted that all these are items you can earn in-game. However, giving you the option to buy them with real money will now be there for those who want to do so. So far, this is lining up with everything we’ve seen for the Granblue Fantasy update roadmap.
