Before you start Shiny hunting, this Tales of Tanorio Rarest Shinies guide goes over each Shiny Tanorian that has the lowest chance of spawning! While they’re a flex if you manage to get one, they admittedly take a bit of work and a whole lot of luck.
Tales of Tanorio is a Roblox game based heavily on the Pokemon franchise. Each Tanorian has a unique design, with inspiring evolutions, and a range of different Types. Prefer Ghost Types? It has them! Or do you like Grass Types? Look in the bushes! With shiny hunting, community-based route buffs, and mounts, Tales of Tanorio is the place to be for Pokemon fans alike.

Tales of Tanorio Rarest Shinies
No doubt this guide will be updated over time as more Shinies are added to Tales of Tanorio! Because of this, I recommend bookmarking this page so you can keep up to date with the rarest Shiny Tanorians in the game.
Shiny Event Drippo
Well, this one is certainly a rare one! Completely separate from its base counterpart, the Shiny Event Drippo is a limited-time Tanorian. It has the same model as base Drippo, but instead it has an orange body and a blue party hat on its head instead of the lily pad.
It also has 2 party balloons attached to it with the letter T on them. As this Shiny is event-only, it will become one of the rarest Tanorians in the entire game (until other limited-time ones come around!). To learn more about how to obtain a Shiny Event Drippo, head over to our Tales of Tanorio How to Get Event Drippo guide!
Starter Tanorian Shinies
Yep, the Shiny versions of the starter Tanorians are some of the rarest Shinies to obtain in the monster-catching game. You either have to repeatedly reset your save file until a Shiny starter spawns during the selection cutscene, or you encounter one in the wild.
The latter is just as difficult, as you or someone else on the route needs to use a Conservation Incense to get the starters to spawn. If you don’t know about Conservation Incense, I recommend reading our guide that details the Best Way to Shiny Hunt Starters in Tales of Tanorio!
Shiny Scarachnid
The creepy crawler Scarachnid is a rare one indeed. It already has a less than 1% chance to spawn in the Whispering Woods, which makes a Shiny variant of this Tanorian even more elusive. Instead of its purple, black, yellow, and pink colour scheme, its Shiny version changes to a red, brown, and white scheme! I prefer the base Scarachnid if I’m being honest.
However, there’s hope! If you manage to find a Shiny Spooder, which is its previous evolution form, you can evolve it into a Scarachnid when it reaches level 20. Working backwards tends to be one of the easiest ways of obtaining a Shiny final form! Like the Scarachnid, the Spooder Tanorian also wanders through Whispering Woods.
Shiny Fordrake
This Tanorian only spawns in the Mine Depths, and even then it’s a 1% chance – in other words, it’s a 1 in 200,000 chance. Fordrake is a Dragon and Metal Type Tanorian with no other evolutions as of right now. However, it does have a really cool Shiny variant! I actually prefer the Shiny Fordrake over the standard one, due to the black and white colour scheme that’s accompanied by gold detailing. In my opinion, this looks so much better than the green and grey base on the normal version.
