How to Harvest Maui’s Gift to the Valley

In the film Moana, Maui is the one who created Coconuts, so it makes sense that his gift in Disney Dreamlight Valley is Coconuts.

Harvesting Maui’s gift is one of the duties in the Lovely Monster Star Path event. To complete this duty, you will have to harvest 50 Coconuts. Upon successfully completing it, you will be rewarded with five Scream Canister Tokens.

Getting Maui’s gift seems straightforward. However, Coconuts don’t simply grow in Disney Dreamlight Valley. They will only appear after Maui creates them for you first – much like the movie.

Therefore, if you haven’t unlocked Maui, you will have to start by reaching out to him in the Moana realm. Here, you will have to complete two quests, A Feast Worthy of a Demigod, and The Great Maui. Once you are done with these two, you can invite Maui to your valley.

Next, you will have to increase your friendship with Maui, and to be specific, you will need to raise it to level two. After that, complete the ‘Burying the Eel’ quest to unlock coconuts. In this quest, Maui will ask you to grow coconuts by burying an Eel. After this quest, you will find coconuts in the Dazzle Beach biome. However, this biome is not unlocked by default. So, if it’s still unlocked, you can spend 1,000 Dreamlight to unlock it.

It’s important to note that you’ll need to harvest 50 coconuts to complete the ‘Harvest Maui’s Gift to the Valley’ duty. Therefore, keep checking the area frequently and harvest coconuts as soon as they grow. As mentioned above, you will get five Scream Canister Tokens for completing this duty.
