USES RACISM TO DIVIDE

Re: LEDREW: Since Trudeau isn’t leaving, it’s best to ignore him and get on with life, online, Feb. 27

I am a senior. From a lifetime of experience, my observation is that, in the past, Canada had very little racism. People generally got along just fine. We had very little “hate” speech. Canadians were pretty much colour-blind. We actually had the freedom to discuss contentious topics with civility and respect for each other, even when we didn’t agree.
That was before we elected a prime minister who talks about racism incessantly. He sees absolutely everything in society through his own distorted lens of racism. Justin Trudeau uses racism to divide, to cause discord between factions, cultures, people and provinces. The Liberals have an agenda so corrosive it is undermining our nation.

It’s a sad state of affairs because now we have an entire society that has become obsessed with it. Hate speech abounds, our freedoms are gradually being chipped away. The country is in a very bad state, it is a mess, it is broken.
I believe that Trudeau’s historical legacy will encompass authoritarianism, his dictatorial tendencies, his obsession with racism and gender, his lack of moral integrity, the destruction of a once-proud military, no accountability or transparency and scandal after scandal, and that’s only scratching the surface.
Are we ready for an election yet?
The past-president of the Liberal party, Stephen LeDrew, states that, when help arrives (election), “Canadians will get on with the task of making Canada wonderful again — an oasis of liberty and common sense in a world that is increasingly lacking in both.”

LIBERALS LACKING COMMON SENSE
How many more Justin Trudeau scandals will it take for Liberal MPs to realize their political careers are finished? You would think they would have enough common sense to abandon Trudeau’s sinking ship. But, then, Liberals are not really noted for exercising common sense.

JUDICIAL AUTHORIZATION?
Re: IP address deserves privacy: Top court, March 2
So our esteemed Supreme Court has ruled that police who are trying to nab an unsavoury online character need “judicial authorization” in order to get the IP address of such an individual to track him down. Does this now mean that all online sites that ask, “Remember your name for next time?” have to get a warrant, too?
